Two years after their highly publicized court case, Heard has moved to Spain to begin a new chapter with her daughter.
The defamation trial in the U.S., which was widely covered, ultimately ended in Depp’s favor.
However, after encountering paparazzi in Madrid, she shared a few words when asked about Depp’s visit to Spain.
Depp is scheduled to arrive in Spain on September 24 to present his project Modi, a film about painter Amedeo Modigliani.
She said she didn’t want to dwell on Depp’s visit.
She shared, “I’m living here in Madrid, I love Spain.

Previously, Heard explained her decision to move, noting that she admired the ‘moral values’ of the country.
She added, “Also, the people, the vibes. People here are very respectful and happy. I appreciate that.”
Though Depp wasn’t mentioned by name in the article, he still sued Heard over its implications.
The trial ended with the jury siding with Depp, ordering Heard to pay him $15 million in damages.

Heard eventually paid $1 million to Depp and has since stepped away from the public eye.
Since the trial and her relocation, she has focused on raising her three-year-old daughter and mastering Spanish with a local accent.
As of July 2024, Heard hasn’t taken on any new acting roles, with no upcoming projects listed on her IMDb page.
She had reprised her role in Aquaman 2, the sequel to Aquaman, which was released in 2023.
